NERVA Access Fund
Help make a place possible
The NERVA Access Fund helps people attend selected NERVA experiences when the normal ticket price would otherwise stop them taking part. Individuals and organisations can contribute towards funded places. People can apply directly, arrive through a trusted referral or be offered a place by NERVA.
NERVA is a commercial wellbeing and experiences business, not a registered charity. Access Fund contributions are used to provide funded places at selected NERVA events. They are not charitable donations and are not eligible for Gift Aid.
How it works
Four simple steps
- 01
A contributor funds access
An individual or organisation makes an Access Fund contribution.
- 02
NERVA records the contribution
We record the amount, allocate a reference and keep an auditable balance.
- 03
A funded place is approved
An applicant self-certifies that price is the barrier, is referred by a trusted partner or is invited by NERVA.
- 04
We report the impact
We record the event outcome and provide contributors with anonymous totals. Participant stories are shared only with separate permission.
Fund a place
Fund access to a NERVA experience
Your contribution is allocated against funded places at selected NERVA events. We record how much has been received, how much has been committed and how many places have been attended. Contributors can receive a contribution confirmation certificate and an anonymous impact update.
Request a funded place
Request a funded place
You do not need to prove hardship or send financial documents. We ask for a short, honest declaration so limited funded places can be allocated fairly.
Fair access policy
How places are shared fairly
First places come first
First funded place normally takes priority over a repeat request.
Repeat places
A repeat place may be approved where funding remains and the previous place was attended or cancelled responsibly.
No-shows
An unexplained no-show normally creates a 60-day priority pause.
Partner referrals
A trusted partner can refer someone without disclosing a diagnosis or detailed personal circumstances.
No strings attached
Receiving a funded place never requires a testimonial, publicity or emotional disclosure.
No cash value
A funded place has no cash value and cannot be transferred or resold without NERVA's agreement.
Transparency
Clear records, private applicants
NERVA keeps an internal register of contributions and funded places. Contributors may receive anonymous figures showing how their contribution was used. We do not disclose an applicant's identity or personal circumstances to a contributor. Testimonials are optional and published only with separate consent.
FAQ
Questions
Is NERVA a charity?
No. NERVA is a commercial wellbeing and experiences business. The Access Fund is a NERVA-run community access programme.
Is my payment a charitable donation or eligible for Gift Aid?
No. It is an Access Fund contribution to a commercial business and is not eligible for Gift Aid.
How do you decide who receives a funded place?
People can self-refer, be referred by a trusted partner or be offered a place by NERVA. For self-referrals, we ask the person to confirm that the normal price would prevent attendance and that a funded place would enable it.
Do applicants have to provide financial evidence?
No. We do not request bank statements, payslips or benefits evidence.
Will a contributor know who used a funded place?
No. We report anonymous totals by default. We share a participant's words or identity only with that person's separate permission.
What happens if an event is cancelled?
General contributions remain available for another eligible NERVA place. Where a contribution was expressly restricted to one event, NERVA will contact the contributor about transfer or refund under the contribution terms.
Does applying guarantee a place?
No. Places depend on available Access Fund balance, event capacity and approval under the fair access policy.
NERVA provides community experiences, not therapy, counselling, medical treatment or crisis support. Read the Access Fund contribution terms and our Privacy Policy.
