Contribution Terms
01Nature of contributions
NERVA is a commercial wellbeing and experiences business, not a registered charity. Access Fund contributions are used to provide funded places at selected NERVA events. They are not charitable donations and are not eligible for Gift Aid.
02Allocation
General contributions are allocated against funded places at selected NERVA events, at NERVA's discretion and under the fair access policy. A contribution amount does not always equal one place. The number of places created depends on the ticket price of the event.
03Named-event restrictions
Where you expressly restrict a contribution to a named event, NERVA will use it only for funded places at that event, unless you agree otherwise in writing.
04Event cancellation
If an event is cancelled, general contributions remain available for another eligible NERVA place. For contributions restricted to the cancelled event, NERVA will contact you to agree a transfer to another event or a refund.
05Refunds
Contributions are not normally refundable once a funded place has been reserved against them. Requests for a refund of an unallocated contribution can be made by email within 14 days of payment. Your statutory rights are not affected.
06Unused balances
Any unallocated balance stays in the Access Fund and is carried forward to future funded places. It is not converted into profit or returned as cash, except as described above.
07Records and reporting
NERVA keeps an internal register of contributions and funded places. Contributors may receive anonymous figures. We never disclose an applicant's identity or circumstances to a contributor.
08Recognition and certificates
Public recognition happens only with your consent. A contribution confirmation certificate is available on request. It is not a charity or Gift Aid receipt.
